Week 8 in the NFL will be all about familiarity.
Of the 14 games on the schedule, there are 13 intra-conference contests and seven divisional battles. The one exception is a game between two teams that share a stadium, so they aren’t exactly strangers.
What’s in store for Week 8? Here’s the full schedule ahead:
The slate opens with a matchup of two NFC postseason hopefuls on Thursday Night Football. Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers (4-3) will host Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers (3-3) at Lambeau Field, with both sides coming off tough losses in Week 7.
Sunday’s action starts at the traditional time after four straight weeks of early games in Europe. There will be eight games in the early window before three games in the late afternoon.
The 1 p.m. ET slate includes several high-stakes conference battles, including the Baltimore Ravens (4-3) at Buffalo Bills (5-1), Minnesota Vikings (6-0) at Detroit Lions (4-2) and Cleveland Browns (5-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2). In the late window, the Los Angeles Chargers (0-6) and Los Angeles Rams (3-4) battle at SoFi Stadium and the Denver Broncos (5-2) host the Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) at Mile High.
NBC’s Sunday Night Football will be a matchup of struggling NFC East rivals. The Philadelphia Eagles (2-5), losers of five straight, will visit the Washington Commanders (1-4-1), who were also winless in October with two losses and a tie.
Week 8 will conclude with an NFC showdown on Monday Night Football between two contenders. Sam Darnold and the defending champion Seattle Seahawks (4-3) will host Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears (5-2) in a potential conference title game preview.
The four teams on a bye in Week 8 are the San Francisco 49ers (6-1), New York Giants (4-2-1), Houston Texans (2-5) and New Orleans Saints (2-5).
