Emergency responders were called to the intersection of W. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Marlton Avenue at 4:49 p.m. for a report of at least two people injured, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Police clarified that two people transported themselves to a hospital – one with a gunshot wound and the other with a cut that may have stemmed from a stabbing. It’s unclear what led up to the individuals’ wounds.
